On December the 10th, Under the Influence magazine celebrated the launch of our 6th issue: The Detroit issue, at Upper East studio, Paris.

The evening began at 19.00 with an exhibition showcasing some of our favorite photos from the issue. With three bars, kindly sponsored by Absolut Vodka, XL Wines, and The Bottle Shop bar (Paris), the booze began to flow in abundance!

The lights went down and the atmosphere transformed with a Detroit themed projection created for us by our friends from The–Drone.com. With DJ sets from Cicerobuck and Jetboy the soundtrack to the evening was complete, the crowd arrived en masse and we partied until the early hours… Just the way we like it!

We would like to say a huge thank you to all the people who came to celebrate this moment with us, and to everyone who has supported our magazine through the last year.

Thanks to Mike, Vanessa and Karen for being the sickest Paris bartenders, to Milena, Kirsten and all our friends who gave us their time and support in many ways to make this party a success. A big thank you to XL WINES, a small French company who produce great wine from the Mediterranean region, with stylishly designed bottles, ABSOLUT vodka, who provided us with leather and stud suited bottles of Vodka from their Rock line, and THE BOTLE SHOP Bar, who made sure we had enough beer to keep the party going in true Bottle Shop style. Oh and I better not forget, the biggest thank you to David from Upper East studio, for providing us with the best venue around, and trusting us to transform the remains of the evenings carnage back into the slick studio that is Upper East, all in time for the next photo shoot!
